Here is a list of devices that I use in Physical Education and a link to the equipment. I do not get paid for endorsing these products, I just found that they work well. If you have suggestions on something new please let me know.

Ipod 5th Generation
For my music I use an old Ipod. It has 80gb which is pleanty for music. I try to set multiple playlists so I can use them for all of my classes. You really could get by with a smaller Ipod but I like having all the music on there.

IntelliScanners
Used for counting and recording laps. Can also be used for inventory. Scanners come with 10 free barcodes you can either purchase the barcodes from the company or you can make your own. What I am using them for is for a running recess program. Using barcodes each student gets thier own index card. Every lap that they run they scan in their card and record the number of laps that they did. The scanners then attach to your computer via USB port. I use an inventory program that comes with the scanners to record all the student data. This data then can be exported out into a spreadsheet such as excel.
